Tac-Tile is an acoustic-insulating wall-tile with a pattern, generated from the
visualisation of 432Hz, designed to create tranquillity in space.
Because of my interest in the crossover between science and design, I created
Tac-Tile. The idea for Tac-Tile arose from the fascination with cymatics: converting sound waves in shapes. Certain frequencies, such as 432Hz, can work as a stress relief for your body. Can form, in addition to frequency contribute to the relaxation of the body and the mind? This question was the starting point for the design of Tac-Tile.
